First formed in 1977, the band toured the world with the late Ian Dury, and gained international successes with songs such as Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick, What a Waste, and Reasons to be Cheerful Part Three. The Blockheads (Chaz Jankel, Norman Watt-Roy, John Turnbull, Mick Gallagher, Derek The Draw, Dylan Howe, Gilad Atzmo) remain one of the UK’s greatest live acts.
