Private hire technical packages for half day hires ( * 4pm to 11pm)
For the main auditorium (J9) seats 296 (350 with pit seats) or 590 standing.
For hires in the small auditorium (J3), seats 144.

Art exhibition space - foyer
£110 per calendar month + 10% commission on sales
Dance/Drama shows including a live band will be classed as a music concert event (4a above), that package being more appropriate to the hirers requirements.
Extras:
Piano (grand/upright) £70 + Vat (includes tuning)
Pit seats (J9 only) £100 + Vat - provides an extra 54 seats bringing the total seated to 350.
PRS - 3% of gross box office sales, minimum of £33 + vat for music event in J9 per performance.
Drapes - £70 + Vat per day
Security - £POA - for all standing events
Event entry in mjc brochure/mjc website - £200 + Vat
Ticket printing - £25 + Vat per performance. Supplied with seating plan.
Box office - 10% + Vat of gross box office sales - all tickets sold by the mjc include vat which is deducted from the gross tickets sold total, prior to settlement with the hirer.
Bar hire - if the audience is less than 100 for each performance, then there is a £50 charge for bar hire. |
