The Knights Academy of Dance
An innovative school with many classes designed for children and adults. This is an opportunity where everyone can learn dance skills and build their confidence in a relaxed, fun and friendly atmosphere.
You don’t need to have any prior dance experience. We welcome beginners and offer a trial to all new customers. Children of all abilities from 3 years old are welcome to attend our currently running classes.
The Academy provides children with an opportunity to take exams in ISTD Tap and Ballet as recognition of their hard work and dedication. Examinations are available to the children once or twice a year so they are constantly learning new skills and always have a goal to work towards. The Academy also offers children performance opportunities throughout the year.

Dartford Township Choir
A voluntary, non-profit making, group of people who like to sing.

Dartford Township Choir (DTC) was created in 2008 to promote and organize adult participation in world music singing workshops and public performances. The choir has participated in several Mbawula South African township music workshops with Paul Bartholomew, Gospel workshops with internationally renowned music director Ken Burton, Jazz workshops led by Laura Zakian, and Soul projects with the fabulous Mike King. The Choir also organises occasional half-day voice workshops and is continuously expanding its repertoire of music genres.

DTC welcomes new adult members; from experienced singers to people who have never been in a choir before but would like to give it a try. Typical cost for a series of 6 or 7 workshops, each lasting 2 hours, is around £45. Once you’ve tried it, you’ll be hooked! Must be aged 18 or over.

We invite you to make contact and hear for yourself the music we make. DSO rehearse at the mjc regularly.
